Outdoor Tradeshow 2006
This past weekend Steve and I went to the Advil Outdoor Tradeshow. Here's a little blurb from their website about the show:

It was a great show with vendors showcasing their good and services. Lots of adventure/expedition sorta trips, definitely not for the faint of heart. We arrived at about 10ish and we ended up staying till 4:30pm (7.5hrs)! During this time I went to every booth filling in any available contest ballots. I think I have a good chance of winning a free trip or something (being optimistic here)... heck I won a reflector dish from the Photography tradeshow so here's hoping!

There were some booths with merchandise like kayaks and camping gear but most were showcasing their extreme sports services. A few of the booths offered a chance to get a boating license which is good for life so Steve and I took the test and sucessfully passed! So now both of us have a boating license, now all we need is a boat! I wanna go fishing.
The main guest at the event was Les Stroud of the highly popular show SurvivorMan. His show is awesome if you haven't seen it I recommend it. Its educational, entertaining and a real reality show. (You can see the show on OLN and on the Discovery Channel)
Here he is... SURVIVORMAN

O yeah, the night before the show we went GeoCaching at night looking for treasure in some dark forests alone... Fun and Creepy at the same time. Good ole GPS its awesome.
